A graduate of Evergreen High School, Brook completed his B.A. at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He has since
gone on to work as a Mountaineering Instructor, Automotive Technician, Teacher, and Personal Financial Analyst. His
wide variety of interests and activites include: rock climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, whitewater kayaking, cycling,
running, and fitness. In pursuit of these activities and cultural awareness, Brook has traveled to some remote corners of
the world in the following countries: Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Nepal, Malaysia, Singapore, Laos, France, Italy, Switzerland,
Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, and Canada. Some of Brook's photographs have been sources of inspiration for Gail's artwork.
Brook is currently in his second year of medical school at UCLA.
